 Booooo!!!!!

Olivia turned the big ONE yesterday!!  I can't believe that it has been an entire year since we welcomed her into this world.  She has grown and changed so much in the past year.  I wish I could just slow time down, it doesn't ever seem like there is enough time in the day to enjoy her like I wish I could.  Well on to the good stuff.  Olivia is still very much my little peanut!  She is weighing in at a small 18 lb 7 oz (>10%) and 30.25 inches (75%).  She wears 9 month clothes, size 3 shoes, and size 3 diapers.  She sleeps all night and takes 1-2 naps per day depending on what is going on.  She is walking!!!  not all the time but she is getting more and more confident every day.  Crawling is still the preferred method of transportation but she can walk if she chooses.  She still has her red mohawk and I think her hair may be curly!  I am down to nursing her just once before bed at night, otherwise she eats table food for all of her meals.  She just loves to eat everything!  She is still a thumb sucker and loves her blankies just as much as Karissa does!  Well that is about all, I just love her!  Her smiles and laughs make me smile and laugh and I just love when she still wants to cuddle!  I love you Olivia Nicole, Happy first Birthday!!

Buddie Boy....

Wednesday was a sad day in the Lintjer house....we had to say good by to our faithful friend Buddie.  He was diagnosed with Lymphoma in December and we were told he may last a month or two.  Well the time finally came to put him down.  Saturday night he had a really bad seizure and became possessed afterwards, barking uncontrollably and growling at us.  I called the vet Monday morning and was told that was the sign that it was time to let him go.  Wednesday was that day.  We miss our boy, so do the girls.  We will miss the sound of his toes on the floor, our greeter at the door, my body guard when the door bell rings, the girls watch dog outside their rooms, and my study buddy in the mornings after RJ goes to work.  We love you Buddie, and hope that you are loving playing all the fetcher you want in dogie heaven!!

Olivia's 11 Months

 Olivia is now 11 months old.  She is such a little lover.  She is also growing up too fast.  She is crawling like a wild woman, and trying to walk so badly.  She will walk holding just one finger and cruises around furniture all the time but just won't let go yet.  I'm hoping that in the next month she will master it.  She is still my peanut, wearing 6-9 month clothes and sleepers, size 2 shoes, and size 2 diapers.  she is still in the infant car seat and hopefully will last until she is one.  She sleeps all night form 8:30/9pm - 8:30/9 am.  She is starting to talk more, mama is heard a lot!!  Dada comes out sometimes but she is starting to say new sounds as well.  She is in love with her big sister and loves to play with her.  She is always where ever we are because she doesn't like to be left behind.  She is starting to get into the cabinets and everything that she isn't supposed to.  She is a wonderful baby, soon to be little girl!  I can't believe it's almost been a year since we welcomed her into our lives.  Everyday is a joy with her around!!

Karissa's 3rd birthday was last Friday.  I can't believe that she is 3 already, it seems like she was just born!  We had a fun day making her Mickey Mouse cake.  We had a party for her at Chuck e Cheese which she loved.  She was spoiled like crazy by everyone once again.  She is a energetic, spunky, fun loving, spit fire red headed girl!!  She is growing up so fast, I swear she is 12 already.  She talks a mile a minute although no one believes me because she is painfully shy like her mama.  She says everything, my favorites are really and seriously!  I need to record those because it's just too cute.  I don't know how big she is currently, her well check is in a month.  She wears 3-4t pants (adjustable waist for my skinny minny), 3t shirts, size 9 shoes, and big girl panties!!  She is so much fun to have around, we just love her so much pretty girl!  Happy Birthday Karissa!
